Cobequid Young Company was founded in 2016 to give dedicated CDA dancers an opportunity to participate in a variety of performances throughout the year, and to gain pre-professional experience by working with numerous choreographers to create new works and re-mount existing repertoire. To-date some of their performance highlights include the annual CEHHCF Fundraising Gala, Rotary Club Truro annual fundraising gala, Youth Dance Fest East, New Glasgow’s Art At Night, Coastal Dance’s In Concert, Atlantic Breaking Alliance events and a collaborative project with Onset Hip Hop Company.

Members of CYCo also have the option to participate in select dance competitions every year. To date CYCo has participated in:
